Doyle For Norfolk Campaign Update-3-23-18

Welcome to Spring (kind of) 2018!  The weather cooperated for walking door to door on Granby Street, Colonial Place and West Ghent last weekend and this weekend looks spectacular for walking as well. I am very thankful for my friends who walk with me and make it a lot of fun.  See the picture of my shoes below – 16 miles last weekend alone.

I had the opportunity to share my story with many groups this week including the Cromwell Farms and Ellsworth Civic League, Lafayette-Winona Civic League, Old Dominion University Student Democrats, Education Association of Norfolk and others.  Norfolk is a diverse and smart city with very committed citizens.

I look forward to participating in the March For Our Lives Walk in Norfolk on Saturday. Keeping our children safe is imperative.  Making them feel safe in our schools is a must.  Talk is talk, action is needed.  I want to thank our own Norfolk Police Department for their commitment in continuing to work closely with the Norfolk Public School division during these unprecedented times.

Continue to share the good word about my campaign to friends and neighbors and remind them about the May 1 election. Turnout is the key. We all must exercise our right to vote.

Please let me know if you can work the polls on election day!

Cheers!
