Good Afternoon,

THANK YOU!  I want to thank my fellow residents of Ward 2 for honoring me with their vote of confidence on Tuesday, May 1. And, I want to thank you—my family, friends, colleagues, donors, supporters, volunteers, and door to door walkers for your incredible support of my campaign. I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from the community, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Election Day was an incredible experience. I visited many precincts and met voters as they were about to cast their ballot and exercise their right to vote in a fair and free election. It has been an exciting campaign. I met lots of people I didn’t know. I walked in neighborhoods where I had not before visited. I made wonderful new friends and I learned a great deal about Norfolk and Ward 2.

The hard work is now ahead. I truly look forward to the opportunity to serve. Norfolk is strong and I want to be part of the team that continues the positive momentum.

Enjoy the pictures below from election night. We celebrated at Smartmouth Brewery, which is the same location where I hosted my campaign kick-off. It was so perfect finishing the campaign right where it all started.
