Where does the time go? Another quick week of campaigning has come and gone and I continue to learn many new facets of our great city of Norfolk. I enjoyed walking door to door last weekend with friends and neighbors. It is fun walking with others so that they can be part of the conversation as I meet new people and I can introduce them to those I know. Making community connections is one of the best aspects of campaigning.
I spoke at the well attended Downtown Norfolk Civic League on Monday evening. I appreciated meeting residents and business owners alike to hear their concerns and interests. I look forward to meeting with a few small business owners in the next few weeks to hear more about downtown.
And, did you know the Doyle house has a new puppy? Grady greets me with unconditional love every time I walk in the door. He is my campaign mascot but a little young to go walking door to door for now.
Have a good week and thanks for your support.
